Highlights

  • FTE AHFT Cardiology clinical practice opportunity

  • Join 7 Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologists and 4 experienced Cardiac Surgeons

  • Outreach clinic 'approximately' one day per week

  • Proficiency in Cath lab procedures, including invasive hemodynamic assessments, myocardial biopsies, diagnostic coronary angiograms (optional), urgent temporary MCS devices (optional) and PA pressure sensor implants (optional)

  • On-call for AHFT team only

  • Encourage participation in medical education of general cardiology & AHFT fellows and internal medicine residents and medical students, and regional CV conferences hosted by Advocate Health\

  • Participation in ongoing advanced HF, transplant, MCS & PAH research

  • EPIC EMR

  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line

  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

  • Salary: $559,301 plus up to $50K annual incentive bonus

  • $50K Sign-on bonus

Training and/or Experience Required

  • B/E or B/C in cardiovascular disease

  • B/E or B/C in advanced heart failure and transplant

  • Successful completion of a fellowship program in advanced heart failure and transplant
