OUR CLINIC

Seattle Wellness Center is looking for highly motivated, client-focused therapists who are passionate about quality mental health care who are also licensed to practice in the state of Washington. We are located in the Northgate area of Seattle.

The clinic is a group practice looking to add more counseling and social work associates with experience that complement the existing team. We have an in-house LMHC and LICSW Clinical Supervisor to provide supervision. The clinic staff provide the administrative support from booking to billing - allowing clinicians to focus on the work that they love to do with their clients.

Minimum commitment of 25 client sessions a week in a hybrid model.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

· Part time (Per hour rate: $45-$55)

· Monday-Friday schedule, with weekends off

· Provide therapy to individuals, with the option to see couples, families, or children over the age of 5 with a wide range of mental disorders

· Easy to use practice management software that supports from booking to billing

· Wrap-around administrative support, including credentialing and scheduling

· Panic buttons in every room

· Security/camera system to enhance physical security for clinicians and staff

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide high quality, compassionate, and ethical mental health therapy to clients

· Ensure client safety

· Establish/maintain required client contact (hybrid)

· Complete appropriate number of client sessions per day/week (25 sessions per week)

· Encourage clients to talk about their emotions and experiences

· Discharge session with client aware and understanding of the treatment plan

· Build strong rapport

· Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities

· Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations

· Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary

· Maintain up to date case files within electronic health record (EHR) system

· Maintain contact and consult with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate

· Encouraged to participate in weekly clinical consult with other team members

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s required in counseling or social work (required)
  • LMHCA or LSWAIC (minimum)
  • Experience working in a private practice setting (preferred)
  • Experience working with a variety of backgrounds/cultures (required)
