Develop and maintain demand forecasts for the Megapack energy storage system, incorporating market trends, customer demand, and production capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply to meet demand while minimizing excess stock. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as inventory turnover and forecast accuracy, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations. Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, and proactively address any potential supply chain disruptions. Continuously evaluate demand planning processes and systems, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Stay informed of industry and market trends, and adjust demand plans accordingly to ensure Tesla remains competitive and responsive to changing demands. Communicate demand plans and key insights to senior management, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement. Identify and address potential risks and opportunities in the demand planning process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain. Train and mentor junior demand planning team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
