This is a Remote Role The Role:Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student success, maintaining subject matter expertise, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of academic programs. This role involves teaching, curriculum review/enhancement, adjunct faculty training/development, and student mentoring to ensure a rigorous and effective learning experience. This position is remote and operates on a flexible schedule based on business and training needs. Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:22px;margin-left:8px;">Instructional Support:<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead instruction for live cohorts and B2B projects</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Provide quality assurance</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Monitor, track and report on custom cohorts</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li style="margin-bottom:22px;margin-left:8px;">Student Support:<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li style="margin-left:8px;">Serve as a substitute instructor and provide class coverage as needed</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Resolve student complaints and implement corrective actions</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support ADA accommodations</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Faculty Training and Development:<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li style="margin-left:8px;">Create onboarding training materials for new adjunct faculty</li><li>Create training materials and deliver ongoing training to faculty</li><li>Review/update course materials in coordination with curriculum team</li></ul></li></ul>Experience You will Need:<ul><li style="margin-right:19px;">Current and valid AAPC Instructor certification, plus core (e.g., CPC, CPMA, COC)</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Prior teaching experience in corporate training or adult education required</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">3+ years of related professional experience</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or evaluating instructors, educators, or faculty preferred</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li style="margin-right:19px;">Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate issues involving faculty, students, systems, and operations</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Flexible telecommuting options</li><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Generous PTO and Holiday Pay</li></ul>Who We Are: Our mission is to advance the business of healthcare by providing professional training, industry-standard certifications, and comprehensive solutions to individuals and organizations across medical coding, billing, auditing, compliance, and practice management.
