Your experience is valuable to us and will lay the groundwork for a rewarding career.Your Responsibilities:<ul><li>As the personal coach to military families, you will develop and adjust financial plans tailored to both short-term and long-term financial objectives.</li><li>You will guide military families in managing everyday finances, building assets for the future, and safeguarding against unforeseen circumstances.</li><li>Engage with the community to attract new clients to First Command, supported by your local team and our Home Office.</li><li>Connect with military families by collaborating with local military organizations, units, and other supporting entities.</li><li>Educate families on creating a comprehensive financial plan that encompasses:</li><ul><li>Savings and banking</li><li>Investments and wealth management</li><li>Insurance and risk management</li></ul></ul>Training and Licensing Support:<ul><li>We provide a robust training and licensing program tailored for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses to establish a successful career as a Financial Consultant.</li><li>Sponsorship: First Command will support your journey to obtain full registration and necessary licenses, offering essential tools and resources.</li><li>Licensing: Benefit from structured training and preparation to help you secure the needed securities and Life & Health licenses—no prior licensing is required.</li><li>Role Progression: Following your licensing, transition into a paid training role, assisting a local district office while advancing in your career.</li><li>Compensation: Your compensation structure includes an hourly wage for the initial three months, following which you will transition into a salaried position supplemented by progressive incentives throughout the nine-month paid training period.</li></ul>Path to Becoming an Advisor:<ul><li>Completing the paid training program opens the way to becoming an independent Financial Consultant with First Command, allowing you to operate your own practice and earn based on your contributions and achievements.</li><li>Compensation: There are no limits on your earning potential; your compensation is competitive and based on commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.</li><li>Professional Development: We provide ongoing professional development opportunities, including leadership training programs and annual workshops to prepare you for further leadership roles.</li><li>Independence: Enjoy the flexibility to create your own schedule for a better work-life balance.</li><li>Flexibility: This mobile career allows you to adapt and move your career throughout the United States.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with the military or a connection to military families.</li><li>A Bachelor’s degree.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership qualities.</li></ul>About First Command:Since 1958, First Command has been assisting military families in pursuing their financial goals and dreams through dedicated coaching and guidance.
