Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Medical Billing Trainer. The trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering medical billing training sessions for learners, including topics such as insurance processes, medical billing codes, and understanding Medicare. Responsibilities will include conducting virtual classes, creating course materials, addressing learners’ queries, and ensuring they gain practical, industry-relevant skills for medical billing processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and Denial management processes
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and Insurance practices
• In-depth understanding of Medicare policies and procedures
• Prior experience in medical billing, healthcare management, or as a medical billing trainer is preferred
• Excellent communication and teaching skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Proficiency in conducting virtual/online training sessions
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in medical billing, healthcare, or a related field is an advantage
