HashiCorp Vault Expert

You will design, implement, and manage secrets management infrastructure using HashiCorp Vault.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain HashiCorp Vault clusters for managing secrets, encryption keys, and sensitive data.
  • Develop Vault policies, roles, and access controls to enforce least privilege and security compliance.
  • Integrate Vault with IAM solutions like Okta or CyberArk for authentication and access management.
  • Conduct regular audits of Vault configurations to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams on Vault and IAM best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and administering HashiCorp Vault clusters in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience integrating IAM solutions such as Okta or CyberArk with external systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating Vault configurations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • HashiCorp Certified Vault Associate (HCVA) or CISSP certification.
