Responsibilities And Duties:
- Answer phones to schedule patients for injuries, drug tests, follow-up services (35%)
- Correcting HHCFA, ensuring all info is correct, preparing for mailing numerous invoices, and confirming codes through the BWC (15%)
- Data entry on screening invoices and rehab invoices; print and mail invoices (10%)
- Enter injury charges from clinic daily; review fee schedules for accuracy; contact clinics for clarification of billing to ensure accuracy; print daily reconciliation report (20%)
- Locate invoice in computer and post dollar amount of checks daily; bring any questions to Office Manager; verify accuracy of entries by printing daily journal report; endorse checks and prepare deposit slip (15%)
- Retrieve bank deposits daily; retrieve charges from clinics daily (5%)
Qualifications
- High School or GED (Required)
- Typing of 40 wpm
- Excellent communication, organization, and basic computer skills
- 1-2 years of previous experience in the service industry with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, or
- 1-2 years previous experience in a Medical Office setting, or
- 1-2 years previous experience in a Call Center, or
- 1-2 years previous experience in Collections
