Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry products, and custodial equipment; place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality service while fostering a positive team environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Address guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest experience.
- Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, laundry operations, and janitorial best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Billingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
- Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or related software is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning, sanitation, and workplace safety.
