The organization emphasizes customer-centric service, ethical business practices, and long-term client relationships.</p><p><strong>Role Description</strong> As an Independent Agent with Combined Insurance, you will contract with the company to market and sell supplemental insurance products to individuals, families, and small businesses. This is a contract, remote role in which you will generate leads, schedule and conduct virtual or in-person consultations, assess client needs, and recommend appropriate coverage options. Daily activities include prospecting through referrals and networking, following up on leads, presenting policy features and benefits, and guiding clients through the application process. You will manage your own schedule, maintain accurate records of client interactions and policies, and provide ongoing support, including policy reviews and coverage updates. The role also involves staying current on product offerings, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements, as well as participating in optional training and development opportunities offered by Combined Insurance.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on consultative selling and client retention.</li><li>Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain insurance products clearly and respectfully to diverse clients.</li><li>Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.</li><li>Basic technical proficiency, including using video conferencing tools, CRM or client-tracking systems, email, and digital document platforms.</li><li>Organizational and time-management skills to handle prospecting, appointments, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.</li><li>Ability to learn and apply insurance product knowledge, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in every client interaction.</li><li>Previous experience in sales, financial services, or insurance is preferred but not required; training and support may be available.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage.</li><li>Must meet any applicable state licensing requirements for insurance producers or be willing to obtain necessary licenses before actively selling.</li></ul>
