Our Client, is a 30+ year old, asset based Third-Party Logistics Provider. Their services include warehousing, cross-docking, drayage, fulfillment and local deliveries within the retail, apparel, cosmetics, and food/beverage industries.

LOCATION Los Angeles, CA or East Rutherford, CA

SUMMARY The Inventory Manager ensures accurate inventory management across all inbound, outbound, and fulfillment operations while leading a team of exempt and non-exempt associates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures inventory accuracy for inbound and outbound shipments keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy in place.
  • Manages inventory flow across food co-pack, cross dock, and fulfillment operations within a 200,000 sq. ft. distribution center.
  • Maintains team knowledgeable on inventory control processes, WMS procedures, and count methodologies, and that all are followed consistently and accurately.
  • Collaborates with teams from other facilities to share knowledge, problem solve
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and compliant facility by upholding OSHA, FDA, AIB, and ASI standards across all inventory handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with or desire to learn performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma tools.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
