JOB TITLE: Inventory Control Supervisor
REPORTING TO: Logistics Operations Manager
MAIN LOCATION: Aramex, C/O Schlumberger, 4800 West Greens Road, Houston TX, 77066. The postholder may be required to travel for the satisfactory performance of their duties and responsibilities.
Purpose of the Role:
The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a critical role in managing and optimizing inventory levels for the company and the customer. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, efficient stock management, and timely replenishment to meet operational demands. The Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with various departments, such as inbound, outbound, control tower and directly with the client, to maintain an efficient and cost-effective inventory management system. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise a team of inventory control staff, ensuring they are properly trained and adhering to standard operating procedures - receiving, counting, storing, and customer fulfillments (internal and external) processes.
· Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels using inventory management software or systems (SAP).
· Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
· Assist/Implement inventory tracking systems, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate records of stock movements and levels.
· Assist in reconciliation of inventory variances.
· Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and related key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
· Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
· Continuously review and enhance inventory control procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
· Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize inventory management processes.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
· Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control methodologies, and distribution practices.
· Proven ability to develop strategic plans and deploy tactical level execution plans for associates.
· Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among team members.
· Must demonstrate a collaborative leadership style which promotes excellence and productivity.
· Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, projecting a strong customer and associate focus.
· Must be tech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate supply chain management software (such as SAP etc.).
· Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel (Pivot tables & macros ability), as well as other software as necessary.
· Organized, analytical approach to problem solving and comfortable negotiating across all levels and functions.
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, complete deadlines on-time and maintain strong accuracy.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities to review and interpret data.
Working Conditions:
Operational Warehouse environment, multi-site requirement.
Flexible working patterns and must be willing to work overtime including weekends, at the discretion of the Manager.
Additional Requirements:
1. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Vice President/CEO from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
2. To participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
