Logistics Operations Supervisor

Our client, a rapidly growing logistics and supply chain provider, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Operations Supervisor for their busy facility in Jacksonville, Florida . This on-site role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily logistics activities. The Logistics Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of warehouse associates and drivers, managing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and transportation coordination. Responsibilities include scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, monitoring performance, and providing training and coaching to ensure operational efficiency and safety. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, implementing effective warehouse organization strategies, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The role also involves coordinating with carriers to optimize delivery routes and schedules, managing fleet maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation supervision is required. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
