Refrigerated Transit/Sprinter Van Owner Operators Needed (must own van) - Last Mile Deliveries

Overview
Marche Logistics seeks qualified refrigerated van owner operators, medical couriers and last mile couriers to join our last mile delivery network in the Greater Philadelphia area.

As part of our last mile delivery network, you will pick up and deliver perishable and frozen parcel deliveries on behalf of Marche Logistics and our customers, documenting deliveries via our driver app.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate your refrigerated van to complete scheduled last mile deliveries within designated routes.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently.
  • Document deliveries and proof of delivery via our driver app.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies throughout each delivery journey.
  • Keep detailed records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any issues encountered during routes.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or delivery challenges.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or courier roles preferred.
  • Ownership of a refrigerated box truck suitable for last mile deliveries, with proper refrigeration equipment.
  • Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or related logistics roles.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages.
  • Familiarity with route driving, routing apps, load & unload procedures, and delivery documentation processes.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and refrigerated transport.
  • Working smart phone with the latest Android or iOS operating system
