Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute and Wolfson Children's Hospital. </p><p></p><p>Baptist Metro Square is hiring a Revenue Cycle Transplant Coordinator to join our remote team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity.</p><p><br>The Transplant & Single Case Agreement (SCA) Revenue Cycle Manager provides end-to-end operational oversight for transplant and SCA accounts across adult and pediatric service lines. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for complex, high-value cases, ensuring accurate coverage determination, billing compliance, payer guideline adherence, and timely claims resolution.</p><p></p><p><u>Revenue Cycle Transplant Coordinator Job Responsibilities:</u></p><ul><li>Oversee revenue cycle operations for transplant and SCA accounts from pre-service through final payment</li><li>Serve as the lead SME for high-dollar, complex transplant and SCA cases</li><li>Ensure accurate insurance coverage verification, authorization, and reimbursement processes</li><li>Maintain compliance with payer-specific requirements, regulatory standards, and billing guidelines</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical departments, Patient Access, Hospital Billing, Payor Strategy, and external vendors</li><li>Manage multidisciplinary workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce denials or delays</li><li>Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with transplant and SCA cases</li><li>Support timely claim submission, follow-up, and resolution to maximize reimbursement</li><li>Provide guidance and support as transplant programs transition from implementation to steady-state operations</li></ul><p></p><p><u>Education and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Experience Requirements:</span></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a focus on transplant services or Single Case Agreements</li><li>Strong knowledge of payer contracts, billing compliance, and reimbursement methodologies</li><li>Experience working with complex, high-dollar healthcare cases</li><li>Proven ability to collaborate across clinical, operational, and financial teams</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></p><ul><li>Experience in both adult and pediatric transplant programs</li><li>Familiarity with payer negotiation strategies and contract management</li><li>Certification in healthcare financial management or revenue cycle (e.g., HFMA, CRCR)</li></ul><p><br>This role is critical to ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence within transplant programs.
