Job Location Type Hybrid - This position is responsible for the growth of IHOP locations through the management of the real estate approval process for franchise developers. Responsibilities include preparing real estate packages for review by the Franchise Review Committee, being the liaison between Pitney Bowes Business Insight and IHOP for our Anysite and MapInfo software, and perform development analysis and ad hoc analysis for the development department.
Responsibilities
Manage franchise developer packages for preliminary, site review and real estate approval.
Ensure that all materials are received from franchise developers before the package is presented to the Franchise Review Committee for approval.
Prepare a proforma for each site that is submitted.
Mail acceptance letters, run restaurant competition, manage the scheduling of the site tour between the development manager and the franchisee and then inform the appropriate regional director.
Created an internal checklist which identifies the tasks that need to be completed when a site is approved at the committee meeting.
Update information in FRED as sites are approved.
Run the MapInfo models on all proposed sites and lease extensions that are submitted by franchise developers or by Franchise Property Administration. This includes running study areas, scenarios, no fly zones, run optimizations that will identify possible locations that might increase sales volumes, site distance calculations and demographics using our IHOP Site Survey form, GPS coordinates or actual addresses.
Create maps for proposed development agreements throughout the US that show existing IHOP’s, SSDA’s, MSDA’s and trade area locations which are used for potential new developer meetings.
Manage and maintain the IHOP master tables that are uploaded into Google, Mapinfo and Anysite.
Run optimization maps for DMA’s, as requested, via Anysite.
Interface with PB/MapInfo executives to maintain Anysite and MapInfo software, licenses and new upgrades.
Perform other ad hoc analysis and administrative duties as required.
