Swing Shift CNC Machinist

Job Summary

ADEM LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our swing shift operations team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

Schedule

• Typical shift hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (schedule negotiable)
• Overtime and weekend work may be available

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, multi-axis machines, or lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Measure finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Perform tool changes and machine adjustments as required
• Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
• Troubleshoot machining, setup, and quality issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fanuc and Haas controls
• Basic knowledge of M-code and G-code

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
