This is a rare opportunity to lead an AI-first transformation and build the next generation of enterprise networking.<br><br>This role blends <strong>deep technical leadership</strong>, <strong>operational excellence</strong>, and <strong>AI transformation</strong>—with full accountability for delivery, quality, security, and scale.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Own:<br><br></strong><strong>End‑to‑End Engineering Leadership<br><br></strong><ul><li>Full RUCKUS portfolio: Wi‑Fi access points, switching & routing, controllers, cloud control planes, analytics, AI, IoT, and identity</li><li>Multi‑generation roadmap execution (Wi‑Fi 7 → Wi‑Fi 8, AIOps, NaaS)</li><li>QA, Release Engineering, CI/CD, and CodeOps with disciplined release trains.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Cloud, Security & Operations<br><br></strong><ul><li>Cloud operations & SRE for RUCKUS One (uptime, incidents, resiliency)</li><li>Security & compliance across engineering and products (SOC 2, FedRAMP/GovRAMP, NIST)</li><li>DevOps, CloudOps, and infrastructure automation at scale<br><br></li></ul><strong>AI Transformation<br><br></strong><ul><li>Introduce AI across the entire SDLC, delivering measurable quality and velocity gains</li><li>Establish AI governance, guardrails, auditability, and quality gates</li><li>Ensure AI‑native, agentic capabilities ship as core product features, not add‑ons<br><br></li></ul><strong>Organization & Talent<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead a 660+ person global engineering org across 7 sites</li><li>Evolve org design for an AI‑augmented future with clear ownership and fast feedback</li><li>Build a culture of accountability, engineering excellence, and outcomes<br><br></li></ul><strong>Executive & External Leadership<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner closely with Product, Operations, Supply Chain, Security, Sales Engineering, and Support</li><li>Serve as a credible technical voice with customers, partners, analysts, executives, and the board</li><li>Support M&A diligence and technology integrations as needed<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>15+ years of engineering leadership; 5+ years leading Directors/Sr. Directors</li><li>Experience running large, multi‑site organizations with real revenue accountability</li><li>10+ years building enterprise or carrier‑grade networking or cloud platforms</li><li>Proven ownership of production cloud services, SRE, and customer SLAs</li><li>Ownership of large‑scale security and compliance programs</li><li>Engineering budget ownership of $50M+ annually</li><li>A clear, opinionated point of view on AI in the SDLC, backed by execution</li><li>Strong product instincts and executive‑level communication skills</li><li>BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent (advanced degree a plus)<br><br></li></ul>Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $202,000.00-$310,000.00<br><br>The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan.
